No. Medical facials, dermaplaning and Dermalux LED light therapy are all no-downtime treatments. Active breakouts or sensitive skin are assessed individually, with products adjusted accordingly.
How often should I have a medical facial?
This depends on your skin type and goals and is discussed at your assessment. Many people use a medical facial for regular maintenance between other treatments, and it can be combined with Dermalux LED.
Is dermaplaning suitable for everyone?
Most skin types are suitable, and this is confirmed at your consultation. Active breakouts may affect suitability on the day. Fine facial hair grows back at the same texture, not thicker or darker.
