How long does lip filler last?

Is lip filler painful?

Most people describe brief pressure and stinging rather than pain. Topical numbing is used, and the fillers themselves contain local anaesthetic. The treatment itself is short.

Is there any downtime after lip filler?

Swelling is normal for the first 24 to 48 hours and lips usually settle over one to two weeks. Tenderness or bruising can occur. You receive personalised aftercare and a direct clinic contact route before you leave, and results are judged once settled, not on the day.

Can lip filler correct lip asymmetry?

Who is not suitable for lip filler?

Treatment is for adults aged 18 and over, and is not carried out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or where there is active infection or a cold sore in the area. An unmanaged cold sore history, certain medical conditions and previous filler may also change the plan. Suitability is always confirmed in person.
